Description

Bohnaparte and High Bohn: Two Bohnanza expansions in one. Bean farming and Napoleonic warfare merge in Bohnaparte. Bean duel at high noon and more in High Bohn.

Bohnaparte - Unrest in Beanland. Bean princes in all parts of the land are trying to conquer foreign villages and cities. They use the profits from their bean sales to finance their attacks. At the end of the game, bean thalers have no value. Instead, players only score the lands they control as victory points. Thus, the most powerful bean prince is crowned Bohnaparte of Beanland.

From BoardGameGeek:

To play Bohnaparte, the Bohnanza base game is needed. Using new cards in Bohnaparte, the Bohnreich is laid out; each player receives counters of his own color; and play then loosely follows that of normal Bohnanza, with a small difference: earned bean coins are not saved but are used to finance your conquests throughout the Bohnreich. At the end it matters only who has the largest part of the Bohnreich under control. Battling is accomplished using the numbers on the bean cards, which gives new significance to the formerly 'weaker' bean types. Designer Hanno Girke describes the expansion set as 'Bohnanza meets Risk'.

Contents: 33 cards, 60 game markers, and rules.

High Bohn Plus, an expansion for Bohnanza, contains new game variants and two new bean types, the Cognac bean and the Field bean.

With High Bohn, the players may spend their thalers (gold coins) on buildings located in Virginia City. These buildings have attributes that give the players new tactics for winning.

The Plus part of this expansion add Order cards, which allow players to earn extra thalers when they can fill very specific orders.

Note: This is not a complete game. A copy of Bohnanza is required to play.

Contents: 36 Building cards, 39 Order cards, 22 Cognac Beans, 3 Field Beans, 5 summary cards, 14 Bean Field cards, 1 rule booklet.
