Description

Carcassonne Big Box 2017 (aka Big Box 6) provides the full Carcassonne Experience: the base game and 11 expansions in one box!

Whether you're a huge Carcassonne fan or experiencing this award-winning game for the first time, the Carcassonne Big Box 2017 has something for everyone. The expansions included change the game in new and exciting ways and can be used in any combination, guaranteeing a new experience every time you play.

Inside this Big Box, you'll find an organized insert and clearly marked expansion tiles make combining and separating expansions a breeze.

Carcassonne: The world-famous city, known for its imposing fortifications erected during the Antiquity and the Middle Ages. This fortress, surrounded by magnificent walls, still stands today as one of the most unique French cities.

In Carcassonne, the clever tile-laying game, players build the area surrounding this impressive city, one tile at a time. They then place a follower on fields, cities, roads, or monasteries in order to score as many points as possible. These followers will become farmers, knights, thieves or monks depending on where they are placed. No matter their followers' function, the player who most cleverly uses their followers will win the game...

Carcassonne - A simple tactical game that offers a unique experience. A majestic way to discover a new world!

Carcassonne Big Box 6 is the same size as previous Big Boxes, but with a different component mix. It has a box liner designed with spaces for all the components. Carcassonne Big Box 6 includes the Carcassonne base game and the following expansions and extra components:

  • Inns & Cathedrals
  • Traders & Builders
  • The River
  • The Abbot
  • The Flying Machines
  • The Ferries
  • The Messengers
  • The Gold Mines
  • Mage & Witch
  • The Robbers
  • The Crop Circles

The components, if purchased separately would cost over $100!

Inns & Cathedrals: In this first major expansion, Cathedrals increase the value of your cities, and Inns doubles the value of your roads - but if those features are not completed, you won't score any points for them. A large follower is added to the fray, making it easier, or harder, to acquire those valuable majorities.

Traders & Builders: Eager traders are engaged in a fierce competition to acquire the cities' various goods. Builders allow players to play two turns in a row, while pigs make fields that much more worthwhile.

The River: A river winds through the landscape of Carcassonne to offer players new opportunities and challenges.

The Abbot: Enjoys his quiet in the monastery and tending country gardens. While you can place the Abbot on either, you can also remove him to score points.

Flying Machines: Humanity has always been fascinated by flight. Your meeples can now soar into the sky though you never know exactly where they might land.

The Ferries: A vast array of roads surrounds the realms of Carcassonne. Now Ferries along these roads alter paths providing new opportunities to any of your enterprising thieves.

The Messengers: The king dispatches his faithful subjects into the realm. Wealth and prestige awaits any who make wise use of these Messengers.

The Gold Mines: Gold is scattered throughout the realm, sought by everyone. The value of each ingot, however, remains unknown until the end of the game.

Mage & Witch: Powerful magicians visit the realm of Carcassonne. Mage's presence inspire the citizens, but the Witch casts a sinister pull over everything she touches.

The Robbers: Robbers on the road demand tribute from wayward travelers. When your meeples score points, another player's robber may steal a few of them from you.

The Crop Circles: Mysterious circles appear in the fields of Carcassonne, holding a strange power over the knights, thieves and farmers of the realm.
