Are you ready to Cease and Desist!? It's the new Smash Up expansion featuring characters eerily similar to those of some of your beloved TV shows and movies.

Smash Up: Cease and Desist can be played on its own as a two-player game or combined with other Smash Up titles to allow for up to four players to compete for control of bases at the same time.

Smash Up: Cease and Desist includes four factions — Astroknights, Changerbots, Star Roamers, and Ignobles — with 22 cards for each faction. To play, you shuffle together any two factions, whether from this set or any other Smash Up title, then start playing.

To celebrate its release we'll be holding a demo day for Smash Up: Cease & Desist at Here Be Books & Games. So drop by and give it a go!

Admission is FREE!

The Sci Fi & Fantasy Book Club was founded in January 2013 by Jim Placzkiewicz, aka horror writer Jim Pyer. The first book we read was Jim’s pick, Cloud Atlas, which no one liked much. Since then we’ve read many excellent books - some more loved than others. Regardless of the book choice, we always have a good time discussing it and whatever other books, movies, tv series, and geeky subjects that come up during the conversation.

How do we choose what books to read? Everyone attending gets to add a title to our reading list. We pick one to read each month - usually the one we’ve been able to acquire the most copies of. Rinse and repeat until they’re all read, then we start a new list. You can view the complete list of books we’ve read on our web site at HereBeBooksAndGames.com/book-club/
