Every scenario is completely replayable again and again.

Game Play

In Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island each round is played in 6 phases:

  1. Event Phase - Draw an Event card and resolve the Event effect. The remaining information on the card entails a Threat, so the card is placed in the rightmost Threat Action space on the board.
  2. Morale Phase - Check the Morale level track. The First Player will either have to gain or discard Determinaiton tokens and may take a wound if the crew's morale is particularly low.
  3. Production Phase - Players (the crew) acquire resources on the Island tile where their camp is located. Depending on the items they have built, they may acquire additional resources.
  4. Action Phase - Players first plan out the actions they will take by deploying their pawns among the 7 possible actions: 1) address a Threat, 2) go Hunting, 3) Build something, 4) Gather Resources, 5) Explore the island, 6) Arrange the Camp or 7) Rest. Players then resolve their planned actions in the order beginning with addressing a Threat. If more than one player takes the same type of action, for example Building, they can do it in any order they desire. Then you move on to the next type of action (in this case Gather Resources).
  5. Weather Phase - The crew faces the current weather conditions on the island by rolling the weather dice (specifics are dependent on the adventure Scenario you're playing).
  6. Night Phase - Everyone eats, or takes a wound if they can't. They'll also take a wound from sleeping out in the open if they have no shelter. The crew can move their camp during the Night Phase and utilize tokens or card effects to Heal. Any perishable food left over spoils.

Robinson Crusoe: Adventure on the Cursed Island is a co-op game that brings emotions to life from the best novels of Jules Verne and Daniel Defoe. Simple rules are perfectly combined with theme, and allow players to fully imagine dreadful events that take place on a deserted island.
