Condition:  Very Good there is small spot on front cover, the pages are slightly toned due to age, the binding solid and tight. There is a period newspaper clipping* tucked into the book that has stained the first page of chapter 4 and the image of Pennsylvania Ave from Treasury Building in the opposite page.

*The newspaper clipping seems to be from 1855, it announces the unveiling of the Joan of Arc statue at Place du Martroi.
