Teotihuacan: Late Preclassic Period

Teotihuacan: Late Preclassic Period is a modular expansion for Teotihuacan which introduces several new options to enrich and expand the game experience.

Teotihuacan is bustling with action! The city is ever expanding and growing, drawing inhabitants from nearby areas to make Teotihuacan their new home. A glorious new temple has just been constructed, attracting local governors to seek the blessings of the gods as they continue to build and decorate the city. With the rapid progress also come new challenges, as the influx of people and activity demand adaptability to the seasons of change.

Teotihuacan: Late Preclassic Period is a modular expansion which introduces several new options to enrich and expand the game experience:

Priests and Priestesses - asymmetrical player powers enter the game in the form of priests and priestesses: varied characters that will provide you with a unique effect of special benefit throughout the game.

Height of Development - A new temple, orange in color, is added to the game, providing you with a one-time bonus each time you advance thereon, and allowing you to unlock permanent powerful abilities.

Seasons of Progress - the three eclipses now divide the game into three Seasons, each with its own random season tile slightly altering some aspect of the game giving constant variety to each game you play.

Architecture - discover new ways to decorate and contribute to the construction of the central Pyramid, using a completely new Architecture (7) Action Board which introduces a new twist on this key aspect of the game.

Development - Build the Pyramid of the Sun using brand new engineering techniques. A new Development (8) Action Board will present new ways for you to build Pyramid tiles, requiring a slight shift in the timing of your work force.

All modules are compatible with one another and can be enjoyed together or individually, making the already highly customizable Teotihuacan: City of Gods an even more varied and unique gaming experience for the true strategists!
